About showlumo

The central hub for media feeds in the United Kingdom

showlumo teaches the people behind the picture: video operators, signal engineers, camera crews and distribution teams who keep news programmes and television broadcasts on air.

Our mission

Reliable, high-quality feeds begin with well-trained people

We started showlumo because the broadcast industry kept asking for operators who already understood live pressure. Our courses recreate it: real signal chains, real deadlines and real feedback from people who work in the gallery every week.

From professional video operation to content distribution, every module is designed around what a news or television team actually needs on the day.

What we stand for

  • Reliability first

A feed that drops is a feed that fails. We teach redundancy, monitoring and calm decision making.

  • Real equipment

Trainees work on the same cameras, routers and mixers they will meet in UK newsrooms and galleries.

  • Small groups

Every course is capped so each trainee gets direct tutor time and meaningful live practice.
